This is a Charity Event that will award $15,000 to nonprofit organizations in Central and Appalachian Kentucky.
Everyone is encouraged to get involved. To do so, download the KwizFun mobile app; register & select your favorite nonprofit to support (to play for). Team registration on the app will be available after October 6th.
On Wednesday, December 4 (the day of the KwizBowl), there will be a series of trivia games presented and played on the app; they will be played real-time, player versus player, team versus team. While you are registered and will play as a single Player, when you selected your nonprofit team, you became a member of their team. The nonprofit teams that amass the most points (get more players and collectively get more correct answers) will earn the donation prizes. The prizes are shown on the Nonprofit Prizes and the KwizBowl schedule of trivia games are shown on the Breakfast Kickoff, the Power Hour and the Main Event. You, as a player, can also win prizes which are listed on the Player Prizes.
At 5 pm, the KwizBowl will be presented live at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The trivia games will still be played on the KwizFun mobile app however we will gather at the Ballpark for comradrey, food, drinks (cash bar), and door prizes. There will be an emcee who will play music, read the questions and update the standings of the KwizBowl.
